Archie Glynn Moore

Glynn Moore. Glynn Moore, 85 of Wilson, Texas went to be with his Lord on Friday, April 28, 2017, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Glynn was born Wednesday, November 11, 1931 in Horton, Texas. He married Nelta Fay Turner on February 2, 1951 in Portales NM and enjoyed 66 years of marriage. Glynn was a farmer cultivating the earth for more than 47 years before retiring in 1995. He enjoyed boating on the lake with his wife and kids, Glynn using a firm hand to teach them all how to water ski all the while showing off his own skills skiing up to the dock with an exit that didn't even get him wet. Glynn loved his time on the water with family and was passionate about life living every day to its fullest. Glynn and Nelta's personal passion was traveling all over the US on their Harley Davidson. Glynn was a Deacon of the First Baptist Church in Wilson, TX. Loved his Lord, his wife, his children and all of his adopted children and family he gathered along the way. Surviving are daughters, Glynna and husband James Koonsman of Idalou, TX and Lou Lyn and husband Rick Bolding of Littlefield, TX. and his extended friends whom he considered family, Janie Rios and Phillip & Mary Ann Munoz. Glynn's family will be available for visitation, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 6;30 PM to 7:30 PM at Englunds, 1400 Woodrow Rd. Slaton, TX 79364. A funeral service will be Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church in Wilson, TX followed by a graveside at the Green Memorial Cemetery in Wilson, TX under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service, Slaton, Texas.
