Carol Christine Dorman

Memorial Services for Carol Christine Dorman, 65, of Lubbock, will be 2:00 PM Friday, June 14th, 2019,  In Englunds Chapel with DR. Cleve Kerby officiating.
 

Carol Christine Dorman was born August 10, 1953, in Clarksville Texas to Charles Douglas Speegle and Hattie Frankie (McPeak) Speegle. She passed June 8th, 2019. She grew up in Lubbock, and graduated from Lubbock High School in 1971.

She moved to Slaton area upon graduation, met and married David Wayne Dorman on September 29, 1972, in Lubbock. They lived in Lubbock until 1982 moving to Slaton. David preceded her in death on September 30, 2015. She was also preceded in death by her son, Kevin Dorman on March 6, 2015. she resided there until 2015 returning to Lubbock. Carol received her LVN license from Covenant School of Nursing and worked for Covenant Medical Center for 25 years.

Carol is survived by her Daughter Kyla Hinkle and husband Michael, Along with nine grandchildren, sister in law Robbie Dorman, five great grandchildren, and her dogs Whiskey and Roxie

Carol’s passion was for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, reading, music, and garage sales. She loved Christmas and was a very giving person.
