Lenda Jean Woody

Lenda Woody, 67, of Slaton passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. 

Visitation will be 3:00-4:00 PM Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Englunds Funeral Service in Slaton.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Monday, June 17, 2019 in Englewood Cemetery, Slaton.

Lenda was born December 13, 1951 in Hereford to Guymon Oscar and Melba Jean Hudson.

She worked as a caregiver in assisted living facilities.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Danny Burks, Jr. and Rodney D. Judd; her sister, Joyce Julien; and her brother, Frank  Hudson.

Lenda is survived by her husband, Mike of Slaton; her daughter, Katherine Schroyer and husband, Woody of Lubbock; her son, Rickey Judd and wife, Lynnette of Post; her sister, Debbie Abeyta of Memphis, TX; her brothers, Elvis Hudson of Portales, NM, Randy Hudson and wife, Sandra of Clovis, and Bub Hudson and wife, Charlene of Hereford; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
