Roberta Sanchez Perez

Roberta "Bertha" Perez, 80 of Slaton, Texas went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at her residence in Slaton, Texas. She was born Sunday, November 15, 1936 in Monterey, Mexico. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Slaton. Bertha was a homemaker most of her life whose passion was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving are her Sons; Louis Galvan of Aurora, IL and Mike Quijada, Jr. of Slaton, TX, her Daughters; Eva Romero and husband Raul of Lubbock, TX, Lorenza Flores and husband Sergio of Slaton, TX, Monica Flores and husband Armando of Aurora, IL and Linda Mindieta of Grand Prairie, TX, her Brothers; Merejildo Perez of Flatonia, TX and Juan Perez of Slaton, TX, her Sisters; Janie Rodriguez of Slaton, TX and Epola Colegio; 18 grand children; 30 great grand children. Bertha was preceded in death by her loving husband Mike Quijada Sr. The family will have a Rosary at the Englunds Funeral Chapel from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at 6:30 PM, Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Friday, March 24, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Slaton, TX
