Susan Mary Ariaz, 67 of Slaton, Texas went to be with her Lord on Monday, May 1, 2017, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Susan was born Sunday, November 6, 1949 in Slaton, Texas. Susan spent time in Levelland and Big Spring before moving back To Slaton being a resident of Slaton Care Center for 25 years. She never had any children but was loved dearly by her brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces. She attended the Catholic Church. Susan is survived by her two brothers; Raymond Ariaz of Lubbock and Vincent Ariaz of Pampa, TX, a sister; Carolina Hernandez of Slaton; a nephew, Abel Soto of Slaton and other nephews and nieces. A prayer service will be held at Englunds Chapel Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 6:30 PM, Interment will be Friday, May 5 2017 at 10:30 AM in Englewood Cemetery, Slaton, TX.
