Annie Jo Hartley, of Slaton, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024.

Viewing will be 11:00 am -2:00 pm Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Englunds Chapel, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Annie Jo was born on August 17, 1929, in Taylor County, Texas to Joe and Margaret Wood. She graduated from Texas Tech in 1950 and married Glen Hartley in 1955 in Lubbock. Annie Jo was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker.  She loved quilting and jigsaw puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, David Hartley; one sister; and one brother.

Annie Jo is survived by her sons, Tim Hartley of Cypress, Texas and Joe Hartley of Friendswood, Texas.
