Arnold was born in Mathis, Texas on June 18, 1950, to Pedro and Delfina Sandoval.  He spent a life that was marked by hard work and dedication to those he loved. Many knew him by Shark, a nickname given to him, because of his obsession over the movie JAWS. Having lived in Wilson, Texas, for many years, he became known for his unwavering work ethic as a farm hand and was a respected member of his community. He worked for two farm families in Wilson, Texas, the Blankenships, and retired with the Talkmitt family.  He embraced the values of hard work, kindness, and humbleness all of his life. He instilled those great values in his children. He had great admiration and so much love for his granddaughter, grandsons, and great grandchildren. One of his pride possessions was his little Maltese (Maisy), she brought so much joy to his life and the family. He loved his family and genuinely cared about their happiness and well-being.

In 1969, Arnold married Peggy Acuna on August 4th. Together, they had six children and laid out the foundation for a strong family. They instilled in their children the meaning of loving one another, and taking care of each other, and to always lend a helping hand to others in need. He left a legacy that was marked by strong morals and values for his children to live by. He will be missed dearly by his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his son, David Sandoval, and his brother, Carlos Sandoval.

Arnold is survived by his wife, Peggy Sandoval of Wilson; his daughters, Christina Roman and her husband, George of Hutto, Mary Perez and her husband, Mongo of Hutto, and Rebecca Sandoval of Wilson; his son, Abel Sandoval and his wife, Mari of Wilson; his grandchildren, Jonathan Perez, Frankie Hernandez, Matthew Roman, Shelby Roman and Alex Sandoval; and three great-grandchildren.
