Benancio Alcorta Obituary

Benancio Alcorta, 76, of Slaton, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020.

No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Benancio was born July 2, 1944 in Hondo, Texas to Jose and Juanita Alcorta. He worked many years for Tate Pipe Lining, later retiring from American Turbine. Benancio loved hamburgers.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Johnny Alcorta, Jose (Joe) Maria Alcorta Jr, Marcelino Alcorta and his sister Hermila Villareal.

Benancio is survived by his wife, Maria Alcorta of Slaton; his daughter, Rita Salazar and husband Ronney of Slaton; his sons Justino Alcorta and wife Juanita, John Alcorta both of Slaton; his sisters, Lidia Ambriz of Slaton, Hortencia Botello of Slaton, Sophia Narbaez of Lubbock, Eva Ambriz and husband Abel of Sunland, New Mexcio; his brother Manual Alcorta of Slaton; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
