Benjamin “Benji” Flores, 20, of Southland, passed away on Wednesday July 12, 2023. 

Viewing will be 11am – 6pm Tuesday, July 18, 2023, followed by a Rosary Service at 6pm at Englunds Funeral Home in Slaton.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, in Slaton.  Interment will follow at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Benji was born on June 27, 2003 in Lubbock to Marcos and Patricia Flores.  He graduated from Southland High School in 2022.  He worked as a truck driver for Strawn Energy Services in Post.  Benji loved to BBQ, listen to music, and spend time with his family and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Andres and Rosa Flores, Pedro Martinez and Jesus Manuel Reyes; uncle Vicente Flores and aunt Erica Martinez.

Benji is survived by his parents; his brothers, Marcos Jr. and Rey Flores, both of Southland; his grandmother Guadalupe Martinez of Mexico; and many cousins and friends who already miss Benji so much.
