Bernardo “Berny” Coronado,40, of Slaton passed away Monday, January 4, 2021.
Viewing will be 10-4 Thursday, January 7, 2020 at Englunds. A Private Rosary Service will be held at Englunds Chapel. Social distancing and masks are required at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.
Berny was born on September 9, 1980 in Clovis, NM. He was raised and attended school in Slaton. He married Curissia Madkins in Lubbock in January of 1998. He worked in the self storage industry and was a handy man. Berny was baptized at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Slaton.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Berny is survived by his wife; his daughters, Jada Coronado of Lubbock and Zanady Coronado of Slaton; his son, Donovon Coronado of Slaton; his mother, Ernestina Coronado of Slaton; his sisters, Darlene Altamirano of Lubbock and Tina Marie Salazar of Lubbock; his brother, Joe Escobar of Floresville; and two grandchildren.
