Billy Phillips

Billy Phillips, 63, of Slaton, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021.

Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 pm Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Englunds.  Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 12, 2021 at Englunds Chapel.  Interment will follow in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton.  Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Billy Phillips was born on May 25, 1958, in Slaton, Tx to LT (Buddy) and Margaret Phillips. He married his love, Pam Hodge, on June 21, 2002, and they enjoyed nineteen wonderful years together. He was an engineer for BNSF for forty-one years and retired on May 31, 2018. Billy was a hard worker who loved his family deeply, enjoyed joking with everyone, and loved to go camping. He always said if you want to know the answer to something ask uncle google.

Billy is preceded in death by parents, LT (Buddy) and Margaret Phillips; and daughter, Amber West.

He is survived by wife, Pam Phillips;  sons,  Cory Phillips and wife, Sarah, Ryan Phillips, and Keyton Phillips; daughters,  Cassie Taylor and husband, Brock and Breeshawna Hodge; sister, Venita Hamilton; nine grandchildren; two nieces; one nephew; and six great-nieces and nephews.
