Carolina Gomez, 56, of Lubbock, passed away Saturday January 15, 2022.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Englunds. Mass will be celebrated at 2:30 pm Friday, January 21, 2022 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Idalou.  Interment will follow at Idalou Cemetery.  

Carolina was born January 18, 1965 in Mathis, TX to Ruperto and Felicita Gomez. She graduated from Cooper High School in 1985. She enjoyed watching movies, dancing, and listening accordion and guitar music. She was lovingly cared for by her sister Olga for 43 years. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Rosa Martinez and San Juanita Gomez; and her brother Joe Gomez.

Carolina is survived by her sisters, Olga Silvas and her husband, Fred Trevino of Idalou, Maria Rodriguez of Waxahachie, Juanita Trevino and her husband, Juan of Lubbock and Geneva Gomez of Lubbock; and her brothers, Ruperto Gomez and his wife Maria of Ennis, Rolando Gomez and his wife Juanita of Lubbock, Florencio Gomez and his wife, Fina of Waxahachie, Frank Gomez and his wife San Juanita of Ennis and Santos Gomez and his wife, Rosa of Avalon.
