Connie F. Herrera

Connie F. Herrera, 55, of Slaton, passed away Sunday September 19,  2021.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service. Masks and social distancing are required.

Connie was born July 24, 1966 in Slaton to Trinco D. and Manuella Herrera.  She graduated from Slaton High School in 1984. Connie worked for many years at Texas Tech as an agricultural lab tech. She enjoyed playing games on her phone, spending time with her family, and taking care of her yard.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Rita J. Herrera; and her brothers, Manuel Herrera, James Herrera, and Trinco Herrera, Jr.

Connie is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth, Betty, JoAnn, Nancy, Eva, Martha, Jessica and Mary Herrera, all of Slaton; her brothers, Ray Herrera and his wife, Anita, and Erineo, all of Slaton; and many nieces and nephews.
