Delma “Sue” Hodge Johns, 85, formerly of Slaton, passed away in Keller surrounded by her children on Friday, June 10, 2022.  

Viewing will be 9am-10am Monday, June 13, 2022 at Englunds. Graveside services will be 10:30 am Monday, June 13, 2022 at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Sue was born on November 23, 1936 in Slaton to Delma and Ruby Hodge.  She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.   

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Bennie Calvin Johns, Jr.

Sue is survived by her daughters, Toni Haggerton and her husband, Scott  of Keller and Tanya Fisher and her husband, Paul of Grapevine; her son, Bennie Calvin Johns, III and Alissa Sporkin of Carlsbad, NM; her brothers, Everette Hodge and his wife, Ann of Denver City and Jerry Hodge of Slaton; her grandchildren,  Mandy Leonard and her husband, Ryan, Brent Fisher, Megan Winkler and her husband, Jeremy, Mallory Watkins and her husband,  Cole, Madison Haggerton, and Kynsie Johns; and her great-grandchildren, Kasen and McKenna Leonard and Allyson Johns.
