Delma Pequeno, 65, of Slaton, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm Friday, June 28, 2024, at Englunds.  Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Slaton.  Interment will follow at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton.  Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Delma was born on March 8, 1959, in Slaton to Ray and Rosa Pequeno. She attended schools in Slaton and graduated from South Plains College with a surgical tech degree. After working in the field for several years in Lubbock and Austin, she moved back to Slaton and became a caregiver. She enjoyed working in her yard and loved her dog, Bonnie.                                                             

She is preceded in death by her father, Ray; her son, Daniel Pequeno; and her brother Ray Pequeno Jr.

Delma is survived by her mother, Rosa Pequeno of Slaton, her sons, Dustin McDonald of Lubbock and Derek McDonald of Austin; her sister Lisa Gallardo and her husband, Ramon; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one niece; and five nephews.
