Doris "Teenie" Behrend

Doris “Teenie” Behrend, 70, of Wilson, passed away January 14th, 2020.

Visitation will be 5:00- 6:0PM Friday, January 17th at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be at 10 am, Saturday, January 18, 2020 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wilson. Interment will follow in Green Memorial Park, Wilson. Arrangements are under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

She was born October 7, 1949 in Slaton to Rudolph and Velma Behrend.  She graduated from Wilson High School in 1968.  She retired after 34 years from the State of Texas as a human resources administrator.  Teenie was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wilson. She loved her dog, fishing, and playing dominoes.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Shirley Gary.

Doris is survived by her sister, Sandra Lamberson and her husband, Windell of Lubbock; her brothers, Delvin Behrend of Houston and Norris Behrend of Wilson; two nieces; and one nephew.
