Dorothy Benitez 88, of Slaton, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Lorenzo Cemetery (North) in Lorenzo.   Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Dorothy was born on February 16, 1936 in Little Rock AR. to William and Rody Frost.  She worked for over 25 years as a Nurse’s Aid in various nursing homes, including the Slaton Care Center. Dorothy was a devout witness for Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Rhonda Bates; her sister, Earline Frost; and her brother, Herbert Frost.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Jerry Qualls and his wife, Debra and Gary Qualls, all of Lubbock, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
