Gerardo H. Flores, age 68, of Slaton, passed away on April 6, 2025.

Viewing will be from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm Wednesday, April 9, 2025 followed by a Rosary Service at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Englunds Chapel. The interment will follow at Englewood Cemetery. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Gerardo was born on October 3, 1956 in Iramuco, Guanajuato, Mexico to Antonio and Rafaela Flores. He worked at R. E. James Gravel Company for 41 years.   He was a carpenter, enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with his grandkids and his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Gerardo is survived by his wife, M. Christina Flores; his sons, Richard and his wife, Margaret, Rigoberto and his wife, Victoria, Fermin and his wife, Lisa, and Gerardo and his wife, Elyssa; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters; and his nieces and nephews.
