Gloria Coleman, 76, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

Viewing will be 11:00 am-6:00 pm Tuesday, October 24, 2023, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 pm at Englunds Chapel in Slaton.  Funeral Services will be at 10:30am Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Slaton, Texas.

Gloria was born on February 6, 1947, in Hays County, Texas. In 1974, Gloria married Fred Coleman in Hobbs, New Mexico. She had three children. She was employed at Texas Instruments, Industrial Molding, Bynum Corporation and Lubbock Adult Day Center. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, shopping, watching Texas Rangers games and she collected matchbooks and coins.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Nicolasa Parra and father, Prisco Parra; sisters, Doris Rendon and Helen Escobedo; and her brothers, Robert Parra and Prisco Parra, Jr.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Fred Coleman, and three children, Eugene “Ashley” Cardenas and Adina of Richardson, Texas; Mia Dawn Coleman and Jennifer of Lubbock; and Brandi Rae Flores and her husband Zach of San Antonio. Two granddaughters, Maeghan Mia Flores and Madeline Ashley Flores of San Antonio, Texas. Siblings, Lupe Garza, of Slaton, Texas; Janie Parra, of Slaton; Richard Parra of Lubbock, Texas; and Nancy Flores and her husband Jimmy of Slaton, Texas.
