Harold Voigt Obituary

Harold Voigt, 91, of Slaton, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021.

A private family graveside service will be Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Resthaven Cemetery in Southland, Texas. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service.

Harold was born October 16, 1930 in Southland, Texas to Walter and Lena Voigt. On May 26, 1948 Harold married Nell Haliburton. Harold was a lifelong farmer. He was honored by being the third farmer to receive Slaton Farmer of the Year in 1968. He served on the board of Lubbock Cotton Growers. He was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church in Slaton serving in various capacities.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lena and his brother, Leroy.

Harold is survived by his wife Nell, his son Van and his wife Darla of Slaton and his grandson Kyle of Slaton.
