Ian Guy Smith, 38, of Lubbock, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 12:00 pm, Friday, January 21, 2022 at Victory Church in Lubbock.  A private family burial will be Friday, January 21, 2022 at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Ian was born November 22, 1983 in Midland, TX.  He graduated from Birdville High School in North Richland Hills.  He graduated from Texas Tech University with his Bachelor of Science and was currently working on his Master of Business Administration at Texas Tech University.  Ian worked for Universal Fluid Services of Houston as a Sr. Technical Advisor.  Ian had a deep love for God.  He welcomed all with amazing love and had a tremendous ability for making everyone around him feel important and loved.  His desire to make others happy, smile, laugh, and feel like family was profound.  Ian was a proud and passionate father and family man.  His love for his boys and family were beyond measure.

Ian is survived by his father and step-mom, Todd and Josie Smith; his mother, Lisa Winn; his wife, Ashley Smith; his sons Noah Rye and Jacob Guy Smith; his daughter, Jade Hays; his brothers Tyler Smith and Austin Winn; his sister, Brandi Winn; his grandpa, Bobby Smith, his grandma, Patricia Craddock; his aunt, Lori Skinner; his uncles, Mike Skinner and Mark Smith; and his cousins Shane and Deanna Winn.
