Ignacia “Nacha” Sanchez, 91, of Slaton, passed away Monday November 29, 2021.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, December 7,  2021 at Englunds Chapel in Slaton. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Slaton.  Interment will follow at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Nancy was born in Waco, Texas to Basilio and Manuela Jaramillo. She was a woman of God. She enjoyed singing and praising our Lord as well as always talking and sharing her testimony. Nancy worked for a cleaners, Texas Tech University, and St. Marys Hospital where she retired. She was a member of Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church where she helped in the kitchen for many years. Her passion was cooking for all of her family. She was known for her unconditional love for everyone that was so genuine. Now our precious Nancy walks where the streets are gold and is home where she belongs.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Martin Sanchez; her daughter, Cecelia Martinez; and her sons, Juan Sanchez, Richardo Martinez and Donicano “Don”  Torres.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Gloria Sanchez; her son Estebun Martinez and his wife, Mary Ann; 17 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
