Inez Cisneros Flores

Inez Flores, 89, of Ft. Worth, formerly of Seminole, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

There will be no viewing or visitation. Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Englunds Chapel. Interment will follow in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Inez was born on January 21, 1934 in Smithville to Sabino and Maria Cisneros. She has lived in Fort Worth for the past 20 years, moving from Seminole.  She was a cook for the Gomez Little Mexico Restaurant for 34 years.  She felt cooking was her way of making people happy. She loved to crochet and make gifts for her family.  She was also a gifted gardener, so much so that she was able to grow a pineapple tree. She was a gracious lady who would open her heart and home to people and animals.  Most people called her “Mom”.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Roman De Luna; her sister, Antonia Cisneros; and her brothers, Isidoro Cisneros and Camillo Bill Garcia.

Inez is survived by her daughters, Pilar Robertson of Denton, Angie De Luna and her husband, Dennis Gutierrez of Fort Worth, and Anita Shephard and her husband, Galen of Seminole; her son, Rafael De Luna of Fort Worth; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
