James L. Herrera, 37, of Slaton, passed away Thursday September 2, 2021.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service.

James was born May 16, 1984 in Slaton to Trinco D. and Manuella Herrera.  He graduated from Slaton High School in 2003. James loved movies, music, and video games. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Rita J. Herrera; and his brothers, Trinco Herrera, Jr. and Manuel Herrera. 

James is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth, Betty, Connie, JoAnn, Nancy, Eva, Martha, Jessica and Mary Herrera, all of Slaton; his brothers, Ray Herrera and his wife, Anita, and Erineo Herrera, all of Slaton; and many nieces and nephews.
