James Nolte

James Nolte, 62, of Wilson, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021.

Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Englunds. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Englunds Chapel in Slaton. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 6, 2021 at City of Taylor Cemetery in Taylor, Texas. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service.

James was born October 28, 1959 in Taylor, Texas to Vernon and Frances Nolte. He was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thorndale, Texas. His family moved to the Wilson area as a young child. He attended St. Paul Lutheran School in Wilson and was confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wilson. He graduated from Wilson High School. He farmed all his life and canned pickles and shared his garden with family and friends. His passions were his family, hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

James is survived by his sisters, Terry Thomas and her husband, Larry of Baird, Sandra Herzog and her husband, Donald of Clairmont, Florida and Diana Deborah and her husband, Joel of Victoria; his brother, Mark Koslan and his wife, Jan of Abilene; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
