Jane Cornejo

Jane Cornejo, 73, of Lubbock, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.  There will be no public memorial service at Jane’s request.  Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Jane was born January 24, 1948 in Slaton, Texas, to Cecil and Helen Webber Tefertiller.  She graduated from Slaton High School and attended Amarillo College.  She was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad on June 7, 1968 and retired after 41 years, July 1, 2008.

She married Larry Cornejo in Newkirk, Oklahoma, January 24, 1983, who preceded her in death.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Duane and Bob Tefertiller; and sisters, JoAnn Clark, Phyllis Jenkins, Arlene Brand, and Sue Love.

Jane is survived by her brothers, Webber Tefertiller of Las Vegas Nevada and Jerry Tefertiller of Pyote, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
