Jerry Ray Miller, 76, of Slaton, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022. 

Viewing will be 11:00 am-6:00 pm Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Englunds.  The family will have a visitation from 5:00 pm–6:00 pm and the Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Englunds.  Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Friday, May 27, 2022 at Englunds Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service.

Jerry was born in Slaton on June 27, 1945 to Raymond and Clara (Angerer) Miller. He graduated from Slaton High School and worked as a fork-lift operator in the grocery industry.  Jerry married Judy Ann Lester and they shared 46 wonderful years together before her passing in 2011.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Jerry genuinely loved people and will be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit.

He is preceded in death by his wife; his parents; his son, Ronnie; brother, Fred Anthony Miller; and sister, Pauline Clara Biermann.

Jerry is survived by 4 brothers, William “Bill" Miller, Robert J. “Bobby” Miller, Richard Lee Miller, and Glen Thomas Miller; sister, Mary Roye; and many nieces and nephews.
