Obituary
James Dale Harbour, of Lubbock, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
Viewing will be 11:00 am-6:00 pm Monday, January 30, 2023 at Englunds with a visitation following from 6:00-7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Englunds Chapel. Interment will follow at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.
Jim was born in Lubbock to Johnny and Toni Harbour. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and went to school to be a diesel mechanic. He worked as a mechanic for several years before becoming self-employed, installing flooring in new home construction. Jim loved fishing, music, and movies. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time in Laughlin, NV.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his niece, Tiffany McNelly.
Jim is survived by his sisters, Daphne Danks, Kay Lievens and her husband, James, and Gail Davis and her husband, Randy, all of Lubbock; his nieces, Tonya Linder, Jonnie Russell, Brandye Green, Tricia McNelly, Racquel Ware and Paige Edwards; and his nephews Daniel Lievens and Matt Danks.
