John Runnels

John Runnels, 75, of Lubbock, passed away November 24, 2019.

Services will be scheduled at a later date in Missouri.  Arrangements are under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

John was born March 24, 1944 in Brownfield to William and Anne Runnels.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech.  He retired from Alyeska Pipeline Services and moved to Portland, where he lived until moving to Lubbock in 2002.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Billie Boyd.

John is survived by his daughter, Katholyn Runnels of Anchorage, AK; his sister, Pat Moses of Slaton; and several nieces and nephews.
