Judy Gregor

Judy Gregor, 64, of Slaton, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021.

Viewing will be 1:00-4:00 pm Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Englunds. Rosary will be said at 5:00 pm Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Englunds Chapel for family and close friends. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Monday, May 3, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Slaton.   Interment will follow in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton. Social distancing and masks are required at the church.

Judy was born May 16, 1956 in Slaton to Milton and Lorraine Piwonka. She attended St. Joseph Catholic school and graduated from Slaton High School. She worked for a few years with Phoenix Home Health and retired as a LVN after 20 years with Covenant Health System. She was a member of Al-Anon and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her father; and brothers, Robert Piwonka and Edward Piwonka.

Judy is survived by her mother; her son, Matthew Gregor and his wife, Akina; her sisters, Cathy Driscoll and her husband, Fred II, Phyllis Gordon and her husband, Gary, Martha Simmons and her husband, Rodney, Brenda Sparks and her husband, Steve, Wanda Garza and her husband, Louis, and Paula Whitlock and her husband, Keith; her brothers, Fred Piwonka, Norman Piwonka and his wife, Cheryl, and Marvin Piwonka and his wife Sally; and her granddaughter, Hanna Elise Gregor.

The family suggest memorials be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the South Plains Food Bank.
