Judy Ann Moczygemba

Judy Moczygemba, 78, of  Lubbock, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021.

Visitation will be at 6:00-7:30 pm, Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Englunds in Slaton. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 am, Friday, December 10, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wilson. Interment will follow in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Judy was born March 2, 1943 in Slaton to James and Mildred Smith. She graduated from Slaton High School and South Plains College. She married Leroy Moczygemba in Slaton February 21, 1963 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked for Lynn County Hospital and retired from Slaton Senior Care Center. They moved to Brownwood and later returned to the Wilson Community.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Curtis Moczygemba; and her sister, Winnie Pearl Luttrell.

Judy is survived by her son, Ricky and his wife, Tracy of Floresville, Texas; her sisters, Avis Geer of Whitefield, Oklahoma and Joyce Powell of Roanoke, Texas;  two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren
