Justin Newsom, 38, of Lubbock passed away Monday, December 28, 2020.
Viewing will be 10-5 Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Englunds Chapel and Saturday, 9-2. Private Funeral Services will be at Englunds Chapel at 2:00 Saturday, January 2, 2021 with limited seating on every other pew. The service can be viewed on Englunds Facebook page. Graveside Services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Social distancing and mask are required at the funeral home and the cemetery. Justin was born on July 14th, 1982 in Lubbock to Donna and David Reese. He graduated from Monterey High School in Lubbock. Justin was self employed as a framer in home construction. He and Chasitie celebrated nine years together this December. He would be the first to tell you he was a “mama’s boy”. Justin loved going to the lake, skiing, and racing motorcycles.
He is preceded in death by his Nana, Margie Wright.
Justin is survived by his spouse, Chasitie Condren of Lubbock; his daughter, Tayler Newsom of Lubbock; his son, Ryder Newsom of Lubbock; his mother, Donna Newsom and her spouse, Allen Kimbrell of Lubbock; his father, David Reese; his dad, Wade Newsom and his spouse, Gloria of Lubbock; his sisters, Amber Rossette and spouse, Scott of Lubbock and Jennifer Price and spouse, Dustin of Smyer; his brothers, Nick Newsom of Lubbock and Jordan Reese of Lubbock; his grandfather, L.B. Wright and his wife, Carol of Lubbock; his grandmother, Neva Reese of Lubbock; his Uncle, Tony Wright of Lubbock; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
