Kenneth Oswald

Kenneth Ray Oswald, 81, of Slaton, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Englunds Chapel. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Kenneth was born on January 7, 1942, in Brighton, Colorado to Hubert and Mildred Oswald. He joined the Army at an early age and served from 1960-1964 and was stationed in Korea. He married Beverly Gregg on November 26, 1996.  For over 20 years, Kenneth owned and operated Ken’s Snow Cones, serving the city of Brownfield in his pink Jeep, playing Music Box Dancer. He and Beverly loved to travel, and he loved his kids and grandkids. Kenneth was definitely a morning person, always positive and happy, and enjoyed sitting outside drinking his coffee.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Beverly; his daughter, Heather Robertson of Lubbock; his sons, Josh Herrera and his wife, Alyssa of Slaton, David House and his wife, Heather of Waxahachie, Kenny Webster of Oregon and Jesse Oswald of California; his sister, Montrell Cox of Lubbock; his brother, Joe Oswald of Louisiana; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
