Krista Graves

Krista Graves, 29, of Amarillo, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021. 

Viewing will be 2:00-6:00 pm Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Englunds.  Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, March 15, 2021 at Bible Baptist Church in Slaton. Interment will follow in Englewood Cemetery. Masks are required at the funeral home and church. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Krista was born March 6, 1992 in Lubbock and raised in Slaton. She was a cheerleader at Slaton High and graduated in 2010.  She lived in Pampa before moving to Amarillo in 2014.

Krista worked for the Potter County Tax Assessor Office for years before pursuing her passion as a photographer, when she went to work for Davy Knapp Photography in Amarillo.  She and her mother started Bri’s Buddies Roundup, delivering gifts to children in hospitals in Amarillo, Lubbock and Dallas.  She was a strong, single mother who loved and cared for her two children.

She is preceded in death her sister, Brianna Graves; her grandfather, Jerry Graves, Sr.; her grandmother, Sharon Austin; and her great-grandparents, Barron and Myrlee Graves.

Krista is survived by her daughter, Blair Brewer of Amarillo; her son, Nolan Graves of Amarillo; her father, Ty Graves of Post; her mother, Lorrie Reilman and step-father, Wendell Reilman of Amarillo; her grandparents, Jim and Ester Torres of Slaton; her grandmother, Evelyn Graves of Lubbock; her step-brothers, Preston Reilman of Wisconsin, and Zachary Henderson of Washington State; and step-sister, Julie Rodgers of VA. 

The family suggest memorials be made to Bri’s Buddies Roundup or Children’s Miracle Network, Lubbock at UMC.
