Linda Pylant

Linda Pylant, 78, of Lubbock, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November, 11 2020 at Bible Baptist Church in Slaton.  Burial will follow at Estacado Cemetery in Lorenzo.  Arrangements are under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service. Masks are required in the church and the funeral home. 

Linda was born on May 28, 1942 in Fort Worth to James and Jewel Walters. She grew up in Grand Prairie and moved to Vernon in 1962. About 1970, she went to work for MHMR. After retiring from the state around 2000, she moved to Grand Saline to take care of her parents. Linda moved to Lubbock in 2013. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Slaton and loved fishing, playing cards, and spending time with her grand kids. She was also a Texas Tech and Dallas Cowboy fan. 

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tim Walters. 

Linda is survived by her daughter, Rhonda McClellan and her husband, Todd of Lubbock, her son, Drew Pylant and his wife, Jennifer of Amarillo; 6 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter on the way.
