Macario (Mack) Cisneros of Lubbock, passed to Eternal Life on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the age of 85 years.

Viewing will be at Englunds Funeral Chapel on March 17, 2025 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm, followed by a Rosary Service at 6:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on March 18, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Lubbock. Interment will follow at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton.   Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Mack was born to Alejo and Candida Cisneros on December 8, 1939, in Southland, TX.  On April 20, 1963, he married Carmen Perez in Slaton, TX. He worked for Fenner Tubbs for more than 40 years, and for Rogers Consulting for 10 years. He was a long-time member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lubbock.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Carmen; his daughters, Sylvia & husband, Ismael Rubio, and Suzanna Cisneros; his beloved grandchildren, Vicente Rubio, Marcos Rubio, Adán Rubio, Erica Martinez, and Joshua Martinez; his sister Felipa Cisneros; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alejo and Candida Cisneros; brothers Roman Cisneros, Francisco Cisneros, Benito Cisneros, Juan Cisneros, Pascualo Cisneros, Natividad Cisneros, & Esteban Valderaz; sisters Eusebia Diaz, Martina Valderaz, Maria Hiracheta, Julia Arguello, Gloria Kuzila, Hortensia Cisneros, and Lupe Cisneros.
