Mark Arnold, 67, of Lubbock, passed away on May 31, 2026

A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Englunds Chapel in Slaton.

Mark was born in Dallas on March 12, 1959 to Donald and Evelyn Arnold. He attended Eastwood High School in El Paso, graduated from Texas Tech University with his degree in entomology, and then received his master’s degree from Texas A&M University. While attending Texas Tech University,  he started a summer job working at the A&M Experiment Station, now Texas AgriLife,  and continued working for them until his retirement in 2017. Mark loved music and playing his guitar and enjoyed spending time at the family ranch. He was a gourmet cook and loved cooking.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Mark  is survived by his sister, Rebecca Arnold and  his cousins, Patsy and Ronnie Warshaw, Zane and Melanie McVey, Joy and Earl Wurzbach, and Brian and Leola Krueger.
