Mary Ann Espinoza

Mary Ann Espinoza, 61, of Lubbock, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023.

Viewing will be 11:00 am-6:00 pm Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Englunds, followed by a visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Friday, February 17, 2023 at Bible Baptist Church in Slaton. Interment will follow in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Mary Ann was born on June 5, 1961 in O’Donnell to Santiago and Dora Torres. In 1997 she met  the love of her life, Nicholas, and they married in 2002 in Lubbock. Nicolas passed away in 2014. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She devoted her time to helping others.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sisters, Linda Martin and Pauline Torres and her brother, Albert Torres.

Mary Ann  is survived by her daughters, Yolanda Correa, Estella Lara, and Sonya Lara all of Lubbock; her sons, Joe Lara and his wife, Abby of Hopkinsville, Ky. and Abraham Lara of Lubbock; her sisters, Rosemary Salinas and her husband, Daniel of Slaton, Josie Beard and her husband, Carl of Tahoka and Mary Torres of Ballinger; her brothers, Santiago Torres and his wife, Estella of Slaton, Mario Torres and his wife, Tuda, Tony Torres and his wife, Debbie and Gilbert Torres and his wife, Lisa all of Buffalo, W.V. and her grandchildren, Malina Lara, Nicolas Lara, Harper Noisworthy, Samantha Correa, Savannah Correa, Zachary Parker and Gregory Charles.
