Mary Jane Hodgkins

Mary Jane Hodgkins passed away January 13th, 2020.

Funeral Services will be 10am Friday, January 17, 2020 at Englunds Funeral Service and Chapel, 1400 Woodrow Road, Slaton. Interment will follow in Englewood Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

She was born February 3, 1940 in Jonesboro, AR to the late Mary and George Roach. Mary Jane was a longtime resident of Ransom Canyon, Texas and served on the library board there for many years.  “Nana” Jane, as the community called her, was an accomplished seamstress after her retirement from teaching 34 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Charles Edward Hodgkins.

Those left to cherish her loving memory are her son David Brandon Hodgkins and wife Tonya, granddaughter Payten Brice Hodgkins, grandson Hayden Gray Hodgkins.
