Mary Jane Maldonado, 57, of Slaton, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025.

Viewing will be 11am-6pm, on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Englunds Chapel, followed by a Rosary Service at 6pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am Friday, July 18, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Slaton. Interment will follow at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton.   Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Mary Jane was born on October 22, 1967 in Slaton to Phillip Maldonado, Sr. and Catrina Maldonado. She worked in patient care at Covenant Hospital for many years.  She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Slaton, and she loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father, her brother, Joe Maldonado and her nephew, Travis Sean Torres.

Mary Jane is survived by her daughter, Angelica Fuentes and her husband, Miguel of Slaton; her mother Catrina Maldonado of Slaton; her sisters, Lisa Torres and her husband, Oscar of Slaton, Lena Maldonado of Slaton, and San Juana Maldonado of Lubbock; her brothers, Phillip Maldonado, Jr. of Slaton, Andrew Maldonado and his wife, Patricia of Nixon, Jim Maldonado and his wife, Rosa of Slaton, and Ben Maldonado and his wife, Cynthia of Slaton; and her grandchildren, Martin, Ethan, and Emma Fuentes.
