Patrick Torres

Patrick Torres, 61, of Slaton, passed away Monday September 20, 2021.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm, Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Englunds Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Friday, September 24, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Slaton.  Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service. Masks and social distancing are required at the funeral home and church.

Patrick was born March 17, 1960 in Slaton to Alfredo and Catherine Torres. He worked for Nix Electric Company and later with Brandon and Clark Electric Company. He enjoyed working on lawnmowers and loved kids and fishing. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Roman and Jerry Torres; and his sisters, Nancy and Odelia Torres.

Patrick is survived by his sisters, Eva Alcorta of Slaton, Janet Casillas of Slaton, Eloisa Riojas and her husband, Tino of Slaton, Erma Torres of Slaton, Norma Torres and her husband, Brian of Lubbock, Jessica Islas and her husband, Abraham of Lubbock, Melinda Torres of Lubbock, Melissa Torres of Lubbock, Melanie Cisneros and her husband, Ernest of Slaton and Margaret Torres and her husband, Raymon Ortiz of Lubbock; and his brothers Fred Torres and his wife, Sally of Nashville, Arthur Torres of Slaton, Michael Torres and his wife, Zulema of Memphis and Christopher Torres of Lubbock.
