Ron Bornick Obituary

Ronald Bornick, 77, of Ransom Canyon, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024.


A Memorial Service led by the friends of Ronald will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Ransom Canyon Ranch House, 1 Island Dr, in Ransom Canyon. Mark and Janet Stripling will be officiating.


Ron was born on December 21, 1946, in Madison, Wisconsin to Royel and Phyllis Bornick. He married the love of his life, Karen, at a young age. He attended the College of Engineering at Madison, Wisconsin in 1966. Ron worked as a sales rep for Black and Decker for many years.  He also worked with Don Caldwell for a period of time at the Cactus Theatre. He was also very active with the Ransom Canyon Memorial Chapel.  Ron enjoyed woodworking and traveling.


He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife.


Ron was survived by his sister, Bonnie Inhof and her husband Steve; his brother, Jack Bornick and his wife, Janice; his special friends, Monica, Wicker, and Berkly Nowlin and her fiancé, Jwan Barazi and Donny, Leslie, Amanda, and Nick Briggs; and several nieces and Nephews.


A special thanks goes out to Shea Rucker, Dr. Kelly Klein and the staff at UMC Hospice for the special care received, as well as his neighbors for all their support at this time.


In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Ransom Canyon Memorial Chapel.
