Rose Garcia Navarrette

Rose M. Garcia Navarrette, 60, of Lubbock, peacefully passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at UMC. 

A private family graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2020 in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Rose was born in Slaton to Anselmo Garcia and Ramona Ramirez Garcia. She attended Slaton High School. Rose has lived in Lubbock for the past twenty years. She worked for many hotels as a housekeeper, while raising her children as a loving homemaker. She was loved by many and had numerous friends.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Amador, Anselmo Jr, Joe, Lupe; and her great grandson, Matthias Augistine Catala Espinoza.

Rose is survived by her daughters, Janey Espinoza (Steven) of Slaton, Micki Trevino, Stephanie Trevino, and Angelita Trevino all of Lubbock; her brothers, Jesse “Sly” Garcia of Slaton, Pio Garcia (Benita) of Lubbock, Manuel Garcia (Lupe) of Houston and , Bernadino Garcia of Lubbock; her sisters, Hope Gallardo of Slaton, Isabel Olivo (Eleutherio) of Lima, Ohio, Ruby Martinez (Thomas), and Yolando Olivo all of Lubbock; sixteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
