Sharon Buxkemper

Sharon Buxkemper, 65, of Wilson, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021.

Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Englunds Chapel. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Englunds Chapel.  Interment will follow in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Sharon was born June 17, 1955 in Lubbock to Billy Lee and Joyce Reed. She attended schools in Slaton.  She married John Buxkemper in Slaton on March 15, 1974. Sharon was a loving housewife and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Jayson Edward Buxkemper; and her brother, Curtis Reed.

Sharon is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Gossett and her husband, Robby of Slaton and Jessica Ledbetter and her husband, Ronnie of Lorenzo; her sister, Debbie Beckham of Lubbock; her brother, Butch Reed and his wife, Diana of San Leon, Texas; her best friend, Jerry Moczygemba of Wilson; seven grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

The family suggest memorials be made to the Lubbock State School.
