Susan Watson, 61, of Lubbock, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024.

Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 pm Monday, June 24, 2024, at Englunds Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Lakeridge Methodist Church, 4701-82nd, in Lubbock. Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Susan was born on February 13, 1963, in Lubbock to John and Janell Mosser. She attended Christ the King Cathedral School through her Junior year and then graduated from Monterey High School in 1981. She had a passion for style and went on to earn her Cosmetology license after high school. Soon after, she pursued an opportunity to help support the family and became co-owner of Pools West where she worked for 34 years. Working in the family business allowed her to spend more time with her family, which she loved and adored. The last three years she was the receptionist at Cavenders Auto Family, BMW of Lubbock, where she loved getting to know customers and coworkers.

When she wasn’t working, she could be found laying out enjoying the sun. Her pride and joy were her kids and grandkids. She showed her caring heart through cooking for her family and would often bring unannounced meals. Every year she would host Christmas baking parties for her grandkids which are some of the most cherished memories.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Debbie West and niece Laura West.

Susan is survived by Mark Watson of Lubbock, who she shared 34 years of marriage with; her daughters, Chelsea Watson of Lubbock, Melissa Wilson and her husband, T. J. of Lubbock, and their children, Atreyu, Tristen, Kingston, Beckham, and Rayden; her son, Ryan Watson and his wife, Jerrica of Midland and their children, Warren, John Henry, Emily and Weston; her sisters, Connie McGuire and her husband, Wayne of Abernathy, and Carrie Griggs and her husband, Jon of Sanger; and eight cherished nieces and nephews (Daniel, Brent, Jennifer, Alicia, Camille, Matthew, Jarrad and Heath).
