Tory Taylor

Tory Don Taylor, 59, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022. 

Viewing will be 12-5 Sunday. Graveside Services will be 2:00 pm Monday, February 21, 2022 at Resthaven Cemetery in Southland.

Tory was born in Slaton, Texas on April 19, 1962 to F.A. “Pat” and Emma Lou Taylor.  He graduated from Slaton High School in 1980, and obtained his degree in Accounting from both Texas Tech University and Angelo State University.  While at Texas Tech, he was a proud member of the Saddle Tramps.

Tory was a talented pianist who loved Tina Turner and shopping for home decor.  He truly adored his Slaton classmates of 1980 and enjoyed hosting their annual Christmas parties.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Tommy Jack Taylor, and grandparents Haywood and Mary Ella Basinger and Jack and Jewel Taylor.  He is survived by his brother Todd Taylor and wife Tina, three nieces, three nephews, and two great-nieces.
