Ulysses Carmona, 58, of Rome, Georgia, formally of Slaton, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm Monday November 4, 2024, at Englunds Chapel.  Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Slaton.   Arrangements are by Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Ulysses was born to Paul M. and Carolina Carmona on June 29, 1966, in Taylor, Texas. He graduated from Slaton High School and proudly attended one semester at Texas Tech. He worked as a manager for many years at Ben E. Keith before starting his career as a truck driver. He eventually opened his own trucking company, 4-C Trucking. Ulysses enjoyed going to casinos and playing bingo. He loved music and being out in nature. He was quite the jokester.

Ulysses was preceded in death by his father, Paul M. Carmona, his brother, Paul Carmona Jr., his sister Ester Carmona, and his grandparents, Thomas and Estanislada Biera.

He is survived by his mother, Carolina Carmona of Slaton; his sons, Christian Carmona and Dustin Hernandez both of Slaton; his daughter, Analysa Carmona of Slaton; his sisters, Pam King and her husband, Shane of Slaton and Carol Moreno of Amarillo, his brother Isaac and his wife, Victoria of Lubbock, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
