Vernon Lee Brannan, 69, of Wilson passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020.
Viewing will be 10-6 Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Englunds Chapel. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Green Memorial Park in Wilson. Arrangements are under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service.
Vernon was born on December 1, 1951 in Lubbock to R.V. and Vergie Lee Brannan. He moved to Wilson in 1981. He married Barbara Jones on August 29, 1987 in Midland and they began their life in Wilson. He worked for Temple Electric for many years as a Journeyman Electrician. He rode horses with the West Texas Raiders for years, but that wasn’t all he rode. He loved riding motorcycles and was a lifelong Harley-Davidson enthusiast. His first Harley was a Harley 50 at the age of 12.
He is preceded in death by his mother in 1966, and his father in 2012.
Vernon is survived by his wife, Barbara; his daughter, Heather Cantu and husband, Carlos of Lubbock; his son, Justin Brannan of Lubbock; and his grandson, Liam Espinoza.
The family suggest memorials be made to Toys for Tots.
